These Terms constitute an agreement between you, the End-User, and 1node (Provider) of ABCD Lite software, including any associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation (the "Software").
By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of these Terms. If you do not agree to the terms of these Terms, do not install, copy, or use the Software.
The Provider grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to use the Software solely for its intended purpose, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Terms of Use.
You are purchasing a license key that grants you the right to use the Software without usage restrictions for the duration of the license term. The license key provides access to updates for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase. After this 3-year period, you will no longer receive updates, but you may continue to use the last version of the Software that was released and made available to you during your active 3-year license period. This is considered a "timed perpetual fallback license."
By default, each license is restricted to one (1) active server at any given time. This means only one copy of the Software may be running concurrently. However, this limitation does not prevent you from migrating the Software to a different server and continuing to use it there, provided only one instance is active simultaneously.
A community version of the Software may be available for free with certain limitations, specifically for up to 1 project and 5 websites.
You may not resell, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, or transfer your license key or the Software to any third party.
You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software through unauthorized means. Access to the Software's source code is provided via its designated open-source repository.
You may not modify the Software or its components for the purpose of removing or circumventing the license protection or any other features.
Modification of the Software's source code is permitted only within the author's open-source repository and strictly with the author's explicit consent.
Geographic Restrictions: The Software may not be used by any person, company, government, or entity located in or affiliated with the following countries, or any territories under their jurisdiction or control, whether directly or indirectly:
This list of restricted countries may be updated by the Provider at its sole discretion. Use of this Software in violation of this clause is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms of Use.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE PROVIDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
While the Provider may offer consultative assistance or technical support, such services may incur additional charges. The Provider is not responsible for any issues arising from integrations with third-party services or technologies used within the Software.
To activate and use the Software, you must insert your purchased license key into the Software's configuration file. Detailed instructions for this process are available in the publicly accessible documentation.
New versions of the Software, when available, will be accessible for download via GitHub Releases. You are solely responsible for checking for updates and for installing them.
The Software is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The Provider owns the title, copyright, and other intellectual property rights in the Software. These Terms of Use grant you no rights to use any trademarks, service marks, logos, or trade names of the Provider.
